Smiles recorded at Circle House Studios, a premier recording studio. “Bands in the Trap” was mastered by Chris Athens who has engineered for Drake and Rick Ross. It was mixed by MixByTrip and Better Call Sal who engineered Popp Hunna’s “Adderall (Corvette Corvette)” record. Better Call Sal has also worked with YNW Melly and City Girls.

Smiles Official and friend Travis Wright launched Streets Enterprise Entertainment. He describes them as yin and yang-street and business saavy.

“There’s a lot of artists that put on their rap costumes and lie in their music,” says Smiles. “But I have a city that supports me. I have no choice but to stay true to who I am.”

“I sell authenticity. If you’re interested in real, then it gets no realer,” he added.

As Smiles Official grows as an artist, so does his music. His content reflects that. Some radio outlets including Shade 45, have already premiered his single with Tory Lanez.

“I’m proud of this new album and can’t wait for everyone to hear it,” says Smiles.
