01| THE FIVE SENSES Urben Context
This architectural studio focuses on designing a supra-regional shopping mall that serves a trade area with a radius of 25 km serving the population of Khartoum State in Sudan. The design concept combines Nelson (1958) retail agglomerations effects and the cumulative customers attraction through touching, smelling, looking, hearing or tasting. The department stores are located at the edges of the mall throughout the floors acting as a magnet for customers. Furthermore, the sensory retail area features the stimulus of the five senses through greenery, cafes, games and sports, advertising and waterfalls for the customers to practice the unique shopping experience.

02| BETWEEN THE LIGHT Physical Model
The aim of this architectural studio is to design a college of architecture. The concept is that the natural light openings surrounding the building masses act as variable width line. The sizes of the openings differ as related to the need of the space area to the light. The entrance of natural light into the space provides the mental and visual stimulation affecting the mood of the students during their work at the design studios rendering them more productive and creative.
