WHAT IS THE BUDDY CLUB: This program is designed to meet the needs of individuals with developmental/cognitive disabilities. Join us for arts, crafts, fitness, movies, computers & video games. Access our Wellness Center, enjoy our pool or take a walk in the park! We meet every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 10am-2:30pm. Only $2 Drop in fee required or just $20 per month.

NEW BUDDIES We have new buddies! Let’s make sure we give a warm welcome to our new buddies: Yvonne, Lauren, Chad, and Mary! We are all so excited to have you apart of our club and look forward to making great memories! The Buddy Club welcomes new participants and volunteers. If you would like to help others and meet some wonderful people at the same time please check us out!

PAST EVENTS The Buddy Club held their Christmas party on Dec. 20 and enjoyed pizza along with lots of Christmas goodies. They exchanged gifts and received a huge surprise from Santa when he left a bag of gifts at the front desk for them. The Buddies also delivered handmade Christmas cards for the staff at the Community Center, spreading good cheer and holiday gladness to all. The Buddy Club wishes to thank the Wellington Giant for their donation to their Christmas Party!
BUDDY OF THE MONTH Sharon Jasper Sharon is a loving and kind person who always puts others ahead of herself. She is not only a member of the Buddy Club, but she is also one of the founding members. Sharon’s upbeat personality brings a smile to everyone she encounters. She is a great asset to our club and without a doubt the Buddy of the Month! Sharon resides in Manassas with her loving mother Anne and dog Abby. She has one brother and one sister. Sharon is also engaged to Chris Thompson of Colorado.She is a very talented and creative artist who loves to draw. She is also very involved; Sharon is a member of ARC Drama Club and Lions Club. She participates in Special Olympics bowling as well.
The Buddy Club also donated a Baby Alive doll to Toys for Tots in order to help a less fortunate child’s Christmas.
