Water Walking

If you enjoy ZUMBA®, you will be sure to enjoy Zumba in the water. Zumba utilizes the principles of fitness interval training/resistance training to maximize caloric output, fat burning, and total body toning. It provides a mixture of body sculpting movements with easy to follow dance steps. You do not need to be a swimmer to take this class.

Like any water aerobic exercise, water walking is easy on the joints. The water’s buoyancy supports the body’s weight, which reduces stress on the joints and minimizes pain. Water provides 12 times the resistance of air, so as you walk, you’re really strengthening and building muscle.

Beginner Yoga

ZUMBA® is a program that fuses Latin and International music and dance themes that create a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness system! The routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that help to tone and sculpt the body. It provides a mixture of body sculpting movements with easy to follow dance steps.

This class will cover the fundamentals of yoga poses and breathing techniques. This class will focus on strength and flexibility as well as breathe awareness and relaxation.

Boot Camp This class is designed for those desiring to increase cardiovascular fitness and increase muscular strength more efficiently. Boot Camp is for the beginner to the advanced enthusiast. Workout in a TEAM environment while challenging yourselves with others to reach your personal fitness goals.

Kickboxing This exciting, fast paced, upbeat class is a fusion of boxing, martial arts, and aerobics, all performed rhythmically to music. Kickboxing provides an intense total body workout by combining elements of strength training, cardiovascular training, martial arts, and boxing. This class is a functional alternative to traditional ‘aerobics’ classes that will improve coordination, balance, and flexibility, while simultaneously burning calories and helping to build lean muscle mass.
