The Community Matters

News from the Center.

MESSENGER: Seniors It’s hard to believe it’s already November, which inevitably means it’s going to be really busy until the New Year. We already have a lot going on in November; we head to the polls to cast our vote, honor our veterans, prepare for the big gatherings on Thanksgiving Day, and don’t forget the kick-off of the holiday shopping season on Black Friday! With so much going on, it’s easy to be overwhelmed and feel that you are having your energy zapped. That’s why it’s important to take care of yourself during these busier, and colder, months.

Come by the Community Center for some “me” time; stretch out your stress in Seniors Yoga or come share a story at our Wednesday Socials. You can even just stop in for a cup of coffee in our welcoming lounge area. Don’t forget to eat right during the month as well! This month we are featuring healthy and quick snacks that you can eat on the go; so you don’t have to swing by that fast food chain. We hope you enjoy our November Newsletter and hope to see you around at the Community Center. From all of us here, we hope you have a safe and joyous November as we gear up for the holiday season.
