About SSUN Shiksha Sanskriti Utthan Nyas (SSUN) is a trust working in the field of education and culture in India. It was established on 18 May 2007 by Sh. Dinanath Batra who is a prominent educationalist and former director of Vidya Bharati. This trust works in close collaboration with its partner organizations such as the Shiksha Bachao Andolan Samiti. The stated goal of this trust is to establish an alternative system to the existing education system. To achieve this goal, this institution consider it necessary to change the curriculum, system , method and policy of education and 'Indianisation' of education.

Vedic Mathematics is the name given to the ancient system of Mathematics which was rediscovered from the Vedas between 1911 and 1918 by Sri Bharti Krishna Tirathji. The basis of Vedic mathematics are the 16 sutras and the 13 upsutras, which attribute a set of qualities to a number or a group of numbers. It contains techniques which help compute the arithmetic operations more quickly and efficiently.

Objectives Of FDP To make aware of concepts in Vedic Mathematics, it's applications in arithmetic, algebra and geometry. To cultivate interest for numbers. To increase speed and efficiency in solving mathematical problems. To make aware of contributions of our great Indian Mathematicians. To help improve performance in competitive examinations.
