Three-Day Faculty Development Programme On Quality Benchmarks for Academic Excellence 30th May 2017 – 1st June 2017
About the Programme: Quality has become the defining element of education in the 21 st Century in the context of new social reality. The benchmarking, the systematic means of measuring and comparing the work processes of an organization with those of others, is widely used in education sector for quality measurement and improvement. The best quality practices as benchmarks help institutions to find their anchor for self-improvement. Establishing benchmarks for academic excellence through best practices is not a new concept in higher education. The NAAC uses the best practice benchmarking in the form of criterion statements to assess the level of performance of higher education institutions Our faculty needs to be refreshed with the quality benchmarks in the major areas of academics.
