In exercise ofthe powers conferred by sUb-section (2) of section 10 of the Dentists Act, 1948 (16 Of 1948), the Central Government, after consultation with the Dental Council of, In,dia. hereby, makes the follolJlling amendments in Part-I of the Schedule to the said Act, namely:­ 2.

In the existing entries of column 2 &,3 against Serial No.2? in Part~1 ofthe Schedule to the Dentists Act, 1948 (16 of 1948) pertaining to recognition of dental degrees awarded by Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak, the following entries shaH be inserted thereunder.­

Sir, In continuation of this Ministry's letter of even no. dated 22.06.2009, I am directed to convey the approval of the Central Government to renew its permission for admitting the 5th batch of students in 8DS Course with an annual admission capacity of 100 students at Manav Rachna Dental College, Faridabad, Haryana, for the academic sessioo2010¡11.

2.

This permission is valid for only one year and for admitting only one batch of students during the academic session 2010-11. The next batch of students will be admitted in the college only after recognition of 8DS degree of the subject dental college by the Central Government 3.

Admissions made in violation of the above conditions will be treated as irregular and action under Section 108 of the Dentists (Amendment) Act, 1993 will be initiated.

This permission is valid for one year and for admitting only one batch of students during the academic session 2007-08 .. The next batch of students will be admitted in the College only after renewal of permission. Further, the college authorities will construct their own 100-bedded General Hospital within the college .campus before inspection of 3f'J year renewal of per.mission.

I am desired to refer to your letter dated 22.9.2006 accepting the terms and conditions contained ;ih this Ministry's letter of even No. Dated 22.9.2006 and furnishing PBG No.31791LG000206 dated 19.9.2006 for RS.200 lakhs valid upto 19.9.2011 and an additional PSG NO.31.79ILG000306 dated 19.9.2006 for RS.100 lakhs valld upto 19.9.2007 issued by the Punjab National Bank, Old Faridabad, and to convey the formal permission of the Central Government to M.R. Education Society, u/s 10A(4) of the Dentists (Amendment) Act, 1993 to establish a new dental college, 'Manav Hachana Dental College', at Faridabad, with an annual admission capacity of 100 students in BDS Course for the academic Session 2006-200Z..
