Then she moved on to BITS Pilani to complete her Ph.D. She later joined Amity University and taught Communication Skills. She currently teaches in Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies which she joined in 2017 and teaches English Literature. Dr. Jayashree has more than 17 publications out of which four are Scopus indexed and four in UGC Care. She has also published chapters in books and attended various national and international conferences. She has edited many books and is the faculty editor for the yearly Departmental Literary Compendium: Unwinding Creativity. Till date under her four MA students have completed their dissertation.
