Manchester Museum is part of The University of Manchester and supports student learning and research in lots of ways. All year round we have many exhibi?ons and events for a wide range of interests that highlight and animate our diverse and specialist collec?ons, including ancient civilisa?ons, living cultures and the natural world. You can take the lead on your own learning, research and enjoyment by: •  Using our collec?ons for research and interac?ng with objects in the Collec?ons Study Centre •  Gaining volunteering experience working in a museum or in your specialist field alongside museum staff •  Sharing your exper?se with our audiences •  Cura?ng or coming along to late night Student Socials. Resources and Opportuni?es Collec?ons Study Centre Interac>on with objects can enhance knowledge and understanding. The Collec>ons Study Centre is one way you can come face to face with objects from our collec>on. You can carry out research, draw and handle some objects.
