Prizes will be awarded for favorite tractor decorations. Those interested in decorating a tractor and participating in the parade should email info@mountainmediavt.com to sign up. On both Saturday Dec. 2 and Saturday Dec. 9 there will be Holiday Inn Tours throughout the towns of Manchester, Dorset and Arlington. Check out how the local inns decorate for the holidays. Take a walk through history and learn more about some of Southern Vermont’s most famous inns. Each location will play host in a unique way, making in a fun and cozy way to spend a Saturday afternoon in the country.
There’s nothing like Christmas in Vermont, and Manchester really embraces the holiday spirit, making it the most wonderful time of the year. Get in the Christmas spirit will all the fun events coming to Manchester in the coming weeks. From tree lighting to tractors, it truly is a magical time. Manchester Merriment events kick off on Saturday, Nov. 25, at 6 p.m. with a community tree-lighting celebration at the Factory Point Town Green in the Manchester Depot. The Town of Manchester will “flip the switch” and turn on the holiday lights and the whole town sparkles. After the official lighting there will be time for caroling, holiday treats and a special visit from the big guy himself, Santa Claus. The holiday festivities con-
