Craft Marketplace SARATOGA SPRINGS You may have heard of Black Friday, but get ready for Small Business Saturday on Nov. 25 when the 42nd annual Holiday Craft Marketplace takes place at the Saratoga City Center. The City Center will be packed with vendors selling handmade jewelry, specialty food items and other crafts for holiday gift-giving. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. There will be hand-crafted items from more than 100 artisans, silent auctions for local events and collectable memorabilia, crafter raffles and more. The Holiday Craft Marketplace is held on Small Business Saturday, which is a day to support local and small business rather than the large national chains that gain huge revenues on Black Friday. Customers who attend this event will get a discount at select Saratoga Springs restaurants as a thank you for shopping locally. Admission is $5, which includes one raffle ticket, and children under 12 enter free. All proceeds will help the Saratoga Center for the Family, which battles child abuse and neglect in the community. Each year this nonprofit organization provides more than 3,000 children and families in Saratoga County with the support and counseling they need to cope with the scars of domestic violence. For more information call 518-587-7244 or visit www. saratogascraft.org. The Saratoga Springs City Center is located at 522 Broadway. 
