Museum Talk The Bennington Museum will host a discussion by sculptor Sarah Peters on Saturday, March 2, at 2 p.m. in the museum’s Paresky Wing. Peters’s research into the museum’s collection forms the basis of her talk and for a special small installation inside the museum. For over a decade Peters has worked in wax, clay and bronze. Forming figurative objects, often near-life-sized heads and busts, Peters merges ancient, modern and contemporary references with respect and irreverence, both honoring and questioning conventions of the past. Interested in raising chickens but not sure where to start? Hanehan will discuss the four seasons of caring for chickens, from incubating and raising chicks in the spring, to preparing your coop for winter, to everything in between. With extensive knowledge of different breeds, coop styles, day-today care and more, Hanehan will answer questions and help participants take the first steps to establish a flock. Cost: Free.
