How did you get into

property? I was always destined to be involved in the property sector given that most of my family were involved in construction and development. For me it was a natural career path and I believe it to have been the right decision. Even after more than 35 years in the industry, I still have the appetite to succeed and to ensure we provide clients with a personal professional service.

What sets you aside from other property companies?

By being a solely familyowned business, we are able to demonstrate to clients a more personal aspect of the overseas market. This is particularly true regarding Cyprus, having been through the buying process ourselves many years ago. In addition we are able to assist clients from our UK office. This is particularly well received by our UK based clients, as we are ‘on hand’ to personally discuss all aspects of the buying process in Cyprus before they even arrive on the island. This coupled with the professional support of our dedicated team in Cyprus, led by our experienced Sales Manager Susan Hough, and our successful relationships with long-established associate, allows us to provide unbiased advice to all aspects of the buying process. What inspires you? Cyprus and its people!!! Whether we are meeting people at an exhibition or dealing with a general enquiry, I believe our love and passion for the island shines through every step of the process. Fortunately for us, selling such an exquisite island and the incomparable lifestyle it has to offer is quite easy. Our aim is to provide the best possible service we can and to retain our honesty and integrity at all times.

What do you love about

Cyprus? Cyprus has so much to offer and not just the popular tourist destinations of Paphos, Ayia Napa and Protaras. The island is so rich in culture and diversity, from its unique traditional villages , cosmopolitan cities, excellent wine regions, the stunning Troodos mountains and of course its beaches and beautiful coastline; Cyprus is able to offer a lifestyle, unseen anywhere else.

Is the cost of living crisis affecting business or are you finding more people wanting to invest abroad?

During the last few years, with the impact of Brexit along with the global pandemic, we have seen a financial impact on businesses everywhere. I believe the result of this has made most of us revaluate our lives and lifestyle choices and focus on the qualities that are most important to us. This has been particularly true for people who may have been considering owning a property in the sun and many have now decided to bring those plans into fruition. The current political situation in the UK and the spiralling cost of living, have only reinforced people’s decisions to move abroad. Although the cost of living has also increased across the island, compared to the UK many can achieve a far better cost-effective lifestyle in Cyprus.

What advice would you give to someone wanting to build a property in Cyprus?

Our advice to clients we meet has never changed, if you are considering a new build or plot and build property, consider what your requirements may be in a few years’ time particularly in regards to location and the layout of a new home, what suits you now may well change in the future . Having over 35 years of experience within the UK housing sector means we are well placed to advise on all aspects of new build homes, including project management, cost advice and control, to negotiating and advising on specifications and construction contract matters.
