ABOUT NORTHSIDE ARTSPACE LOFTS

This year, Artspace’s Annual Fundraising Kick-off event, ARTon! is hosted at our newest project, the Northside Artspace Lofts (NAL). Located in Minneapolis' Harrison Neighborhood, approximately one mile from the Minneapolis Central Business District, NAL is surrounded by the rich cultural heritage that supports the arts and creative sectors. The site is located in a remediated brownfield area that needed redevelopment to better serve the neighborhood and the environment.

This development created a new, five-story, 100 apartments of live workspace for artists. All apartments are affordable for residents earning 60% or below the Area Median Income. Rich with amenities available to all residents, including a large gallery at the main entrance, community workspace, community gathering areas, outdoor arts engagement and child play areas, resident community, and pollinator gardens, NAL looks to foster a healthy creative community while preserving the values of North Minneapolis.
