RECREATIONAL SPORTS ALUMNI www.recsports.umn.edu/alumni Cooke Hall, Room 106 1900 University Avenue SE, Minneapolis 612.625.5977 recsportsalumni@umn.edu If you participated in any of our programs or previously worked for the department, we are proud to call you one of our own. We hope to re-connect you with your alma mater through our energy packed alumni events, trips and campus gatherings. Recreational Sports focuses on providing its students with many development skills including leadership, time management, organizational skills, multi-tasking, communication, interpersonal relationships, and self confidence. Out-of-classroom experiences that students had while in college are among the most remembered throughout their post-collegiate years. It is the goal of Recreational Sports to not only provide these experiences to our University community, but to further encourage students (future alumni) to maintain healthy lifestyles through a lifetime of sports and recreational activities.
Get Connected We encourage you to support Recreational Sports with a gift of your time, your talents, or your contribution. We enjoy hearing what our alums are doing and invite you to share your stories and updates by e-mail at the link provided above. Please visit us often online, or if you are in the Twin Cities, stop by Development Office in 106 Cooke Hall and see how we have grown.
Give to Recreational Sports The financial commitment University students make to the Recreational Sports through student fees have historically made our programs an operational success. However, it is the much needed private philanthropy from our alumni and friends that will inevitably make our programs better, all while easing the expense on students. A gift to Recreational Sports is an investment in the development of our students and it additionally supports positive outcomes both in and out of the classroom. For more information on how to give to Recreational Sports, visit our Alumni web site online or contact the Recreational Sports Alumni Office at 612.625.5977.
