This will mean that you will need to provide suitable identification when casting your vote on Thursday 4 May 2023 for the Mansfield Mayoral, District Council and Warsop Parish Council elections. The ID documentation is only for use at the election and not for use as ID for other purposes.

Among the accepted ID documents are a drivers licence, passport or bus pass with photo. You will need to bring the original document to the polling station and show it to the staff there. If the identification is accepted, you will be given a ballot paper to cast your vote as usual. View the list of accepted forms of photographic identitifcation at mansfield.gov.uk/elections

What if I don’t have one of the listed documents?

If you do not have one of the forms of photographic ID listed, you will be able to apply for a Voter Authority Certificate. You can do this by visiting www.voter-authority-certificate.service. gov.uk

It is recommended that you do this in good time ahead of the 4 May 2023 elections.
