Open Play Pickleball is a fun and competitive program that only requires a membership to play!
Beginner/Intermediate Open Play is designed for new and improving players who know the basics but want to fine-tune their skills. Advanced sessions are reserved for players with more competitive skills, who can play longer rallies and have consistent serves and returns.
Never played pickleball before or want to improve? Intro to Pickleball and Pickleball 101 classes teach novice players the rules of the game, including scoring, rules and basic serves/returns, while also allotting practice time with other true beginners.

MAC MEMBERSHIP FAQ
• Each member of the family 2Y+ must have their own MAC card to participate in programs where membership is required.
• MAC cards must be scanned at the front desk on each visit.
• An annual waiver must be signed each time a membership is purchased or renewed.
• Membership is good for 12 months from the date of purchase.
• Proof of residency is required (i.e. drivers license.) Membership is open to anyone regardless of residency; membership rates are based on Mansfield residency.
• Family membership includes up to six family members who live at the same address. Additional family members are $5 each.
• See front desk for information about recreation scholarships and fee assistance.
MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS
• MAC membership is required for Kids Zone and any recreation programs held at the Mansfield Activities Center.
• Membership is not required for special events but members may be eligible for special discounts.
• MAC membership is required for participation in Senior Lifestyles.
• MAC membership is not required for Nature Education programs.
• MAC membership includes access to the gymnasium for open court basketball, volleyball or pickleball. See Gym Schedule online at bit.ly/gymscheduleMAC.
RESTRICTIONS
• Parent or legal guardian must be present to sign for a waiver for children 17Y or younger.
• Organized practices or personal training sessions are not allowed during open gym hours.
• Children 7Y and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian on site at the MAC at all times.
• Children 12Y and under must have a parent or guardian on site at the MAC after 6 p.m.

CANCELLATION POLICY
• Mansfield Parks and Recreation may cancel, postpone or combine courses, or change instructors as deemed necessary.
• Classes which do not meet minimum requirements two business days prior to the start date may be canceled.
• Weather-dependent programs will have a hold/cancel decision made at least 1 hour prior to the start time.

RENTAL POLICIES
• Renting party must be 21Y+ and show proof of residency.
• MAC rentals must be reserved minimum 14 days in advance.
• Pavilions must be reserved at least 7 and no more than 365 days in advance; fields at least 3 and no more than 14 days in advance.
• Fields are rented for 1-4 hours with a max of 2 dates booked.
• Renting party must sign the Policies Agreement and will be held liable for any damages or violations.
• Renting party must remain on site for the duration of the rental.
• All fees due at the time of booking.
• MAC hourly rate and a $150 refundable damage deposit are due in full at the time of booking.
• MAC rentals have a 1-hour minimum during operating hours; 3-hour minimum during non-operating hours.
• Pavilions are rented in half-day (7 am-1 pm or 3-9 pm) or full-day blocks (7 am-9 pm).
