Stefano Amaducci Team - Lidor Nagar, Ozlem Cevdet, Negar Isakakroodi, Sharvari Kelkar Piacenza has strong infrastructure connectivity with cities leading to Milan towards North through A21 (primary highway) and to Torino towards West. It has radial connectivity from the city center towards the outer ring that has perpendicular connection with the secondary highway that further leads to primary one. We did keen research within the city and along the BRT route, considering different parameters like permeability, thickness, catchment areas, generators and attractors. Through this, we found the problems showing broken paths for bike and pedestrians, vacant and underused spaces, shattered green connections, improper BRT stops and, so on that led us to define a well-built strategy that emphasizes the proposed BRT route for the Urban and Environmental growth of the city.
