ABSTRACT: The traditional method of exhibition has many requirements, such as exhibition time, labor, enclosure space, lightings, mechanisms etc. For indoor exhibition as well as huge construction of structure for outdoor mobile exhibition. To solve this time taking and heavy construction exploration in different typologies of deployable structure are generated through this study. The study will explore different types of deployable structure methods by examining different case studies. The study will also generate a prototype for transformable exhibition space which can travel and setup anywhere with minimum time and labor required.
6
SCOPE: This thesis will study and analyze different deployable system with few case studies, which would help to derive basic systems and designing a prototype for deployable exhibition space. This designed prototype will solve the issue of mobility, easy transportation, easy setup with less manpower, can be exhibited on any flat site(Outdoor).

The studio introduces a unique process of design through “DIAGRAM”, to understand the ideology, and the essence of how a space should be according to the function it’s going to serve. To generate a philosophy before designing and then implementing the same to the structure with overlaying the layer of circulation, organization, light, material. “How student take shape through learning. Diagram shows initially they have more freedom and chaos in their mind, while learning discipline and clarity create a direction.”

Student housing
Project Level Academic Project Project Type Individiual Project Mentor Prof. Krishna Shah Prof. Abhay Panchasara Faculty of S.E.D.A. Navrachana University.
The studio was about designing university student housing for approximately 500 students consisting both boys and girls. In any housing scheme the community spaces, light and facilities play very vital role. Considering the same, the concept design was taken forward. To achieve more interacting spaces, light shafts, courtyards and with maximum amenities. The design consists of long ambulatories crossing throughout the blocks which connects the wings with a clear visual connection, which also act like connecting bridges.

Toddler school - Sevasi, Vadodara
Project Level Project Type
Professional Project Collaborative works
Area of about 4000sq. ft. was to be designed and developed on a clean, fertile and flat land for NIDO toddler school in Vadodara. As kids come here to explore their imagination and to learn different disciplines. Hence rigid and free flowing was the basic concept of the school. The structure being hard, geometric and masculine and the spaces designed with free forms and unbound with minimal elements. Exposed concrete, colorful ceramic tiles, glass and metal as main material palette for the structure.

RESHAPE THE SPACE
Laboratory - Nandesari Estate Project Level Project Type
Professional Project Collaborative works
A redesigning project for an existing laboratory for Hari Orgo. Chemicals Ltd. in an industrial estate name Nandesari, Vadodara. The project deal to reshape the existing space to a laboratory with modern furniture and comfortable working environment for around 35 staff members. Area of 1700sq.ft. was to be designed along with the outside envelope of the structure, with a separate entry. Light weight independent system of construction was adapted, without disturbing the existing structure. Challenge was to develop material palette which don’t react to chemicals. Hence used thick sections of metals which are epoxy painted, FRP (fiber-reinforced plastic) sections, Glass, Stone slabs and Anodized aluminium sections.

CONTAINER STUDIO
Project Level
Professional Project
Option 1
A project for designing a studio/exhibition space for an Architect out of shipping containers, Vadodara. The approach for this design was very minimal and structural. A curve RCC wall is to be constructed which holds the container within it. The wall was influenced by the exact proportion of golden ratio. Also create a enclose space at the ground floor. Container serve studio space while ground floor can be use as exhibition space.

Option 2
A project for designing a studio/exhibition space for an Architect out of shipping containers, Vadodara. Two rectangles intersect to create circulation space and workspaces. First floor in assign as studio space, whereas the free ground floor can be used as exhibition or presentation space. A grid of concrete blocks was designed in order to protect the south-west side of the studio, and also in a way it provided showcase and storage space for the studio above.

Architecture +Product design Producture Studio is a newly emerging design studio founded by myself with my colleague. Our studio is mainly indulged into generating innovative, designer and functional products. We believe in the concept that everything around us can be re-imagined and re-designed for a better tomorrow. Each new design should be a step into better direction. We’re curious and creative people, who always search for various approaches, new combinations and maximum possibilities. We are recently experimenting “PAPER-TUBES” as a primary material for our luminaire series, to its maximum alterations possible. Each design has its own unique attributes and resolved details to make it more user friendly and appealing. We experiment, we discuss, we criticize, we examine, we research and we come up to a best creative design possible. 28

Spinning lamp A lamp created by reusing the discarded Paper-tubes, which makes it more light-weight and significant from others. The lamp was designed with a purpose to acquire light from any angle, by spinning full 360°. The mechanism of the lamp are developed accordingly to make it more compact and portable. The lamp has a unique attri bute of being multi-functional, as can be used as desk lamp, used as pen/pencil holder, used as a torch etc. It can be easily carry along and utilized anywhere Spinning lamp

A lamp created by reusing the discarded Paper-tubes, which makes it more light-weight and significant from others. The lamp was designed with a purpose to acquire light up to 270° of angle. The mechanism of the lamp are developed accordingly to make it more compact and portable. The lamp has a unique attribute of being ON/OFF when the flap is OPEN/ CLOSE, which facilitate the user not to reach out the switch frequently to operate the lamp. The lamp is made from the Papertubes, which make it more light in weight and sleek. The lamp pull up to 8”, which act as cap. The lamp has a unique attribute of being ON/OFF when the cap is OPEN/CLOSE, which facilitate the user not to reach out the switch frequently to operate the lamp. For that, We intigrated pressure switch, so whenever pull up then LEDs will leight up automatically and also cap allowing the user to adjust the opening as per the individual requirement. Product Design Challenge 2020 - IDHA
The competition was about to design an interactive object as we all are trapped in our houses, during this pandemic. Attempt to develop a piece of furniture which shares the feeling somewhere between furniture and playground, with also restriction of space keeping in mind (deployable). A simple deployable table with a cutout of swing panel which hangs from the table top. The swing piece seamlessly integrates to the table top back, as a clean working surface. The furniture is simple and formal, which is dramatically contrast by its hidden feature that brings an element of nostalgic and playfulness into the space. Typology of the object encourage the playful participation in both physical as well as mental interaction of the user. It can be placed anywhere in one’s confined space (balcony, porch, garden, room, terrace easily.

WORKSHOP
Design a Reciprocating structure and diagrid Column from bamboo Conducted by Ar. Hiten chavda
Brief • Set of 6 bamboos 2 in each direction are combines and a triangulation is done at the centre. • The are inserted into a bigger bamboo piece which acts as the holding joint. • By combining such sets made of 6 bamboos into multiple , it results into a reciprocating structure. • Due to the joinery and its flexibilty a curve is formed and results in a reciprocating roof. • · A diagrid column is made bt combining 6-7 bamboos together. • Arranging them in twisting manner resting on each other. • By such kind of arrangement the column gains a circular form. • This criss cross arrangement gives strength to the column. • The strength of diagrid bamboo column is much more than regular bamboo columns. • As the structure need not be permanant, rubber tyres are used as foundation. • The bamboos are inserted into it and tyres give the holding strength. Material • Bamboo • Jute Thread • Bamboo nails • Rubber tyres Joinery • Bamboo is used as the core material which holds the other smaller bamboos at different angles. • Threading is done at the central part for giving strength.
