Description: In our fast paced world, social media and technology is making it very easy for people to communicate and my piece depicts it. The backdrop shows several images showing connectivity and global contact. A red electric wire runs across the backdrop to further emphasise on the connectivity aspect along with the technology used to bring it alive. Then I show several transparent phone cases hanging from a thread on top. Each phone cover is painted with a different social media app: Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, Twitter etc. and is foregrounded by a technological powerhouse which is the basis of this global miracle.
