Brisbane Airport is transforming Brisbane Airport Corporation (BAC) is a private, non-listed Queensland company that is responsible for the operations and sustainable development of Brisbane Airport under a long term lease from the Federal Government.
Brisbane Airport is a vibrant business precinct with more than 420 businesses and 21,000 workers, expected to grow to 50,000 workers within the next 20 years. Passenger numbers are anticipated to be upwards of 45 million by 2020.

The Airtrain operates until 10.00pm daily and arrives at the International Terminal every 15 minutes during peak times and every 30 minutes during non-peak times. The Airtrain is completely integrated into the QR suburban rail network, taking passengers from Brisbane Airport directly to Brisbane CBD and on to the Gold Coast. Airport workers who catch the Airtrain may be eligible for discounted tickets.

BAC courtesy bus A free bus service is available to the public travelling between Skygate and the various airport precincts. The service runs from 6.30am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday and 9.00am to 6.30pm on weekends and public holidays. The Skygate bus stop is just outside The Village Markets and buses depart every 20 minutes in peak times.

Brisbane City Council runs a range of bus services in and out of the airport including: 590 - Garden City, Carindale, Cannon Hill, Murarrie to Aviation Australia and then onto Skygate (DFO) and the Toombul Shopping Centre Interchange. 303 ‑ Doomben, Portside, Eagle Junction through to Pinkenba then Myrtletown via Aerotech Park.
