It’s been a crazy couple of years. The COVID pandemic changed how we could interact with friends, family and the community in general. Now the introduction of vaccinations and boosters, and the availability of masks for the most vulnerable amongst us, has lead to the return to communal events.
2022 promises to be a different holiday from its immediate predecessors with the return of activities: bazaars, tree lightings, and celebrations both secular and sacred.
This year’s guide is filled with events to
celebrate the joy of being together. These traditions, once taken for granted, return to us with renewed importance. Simply saying hello to a neighbor or embracing a grandchild becomes a gift to be appreciated.
Make memories together and share joy. If the recent past has taught us anything it is never assume tomorrow will be like today.
As you consider your holiday list, remember, shopping local strengthens our community. “Shop local” is not just nice – it’s vital to keeping our community strong!
