UW DESIGN STUDIES

IN

Combine international design work with community-based outreach and service learning in Kenya this winter. UW Design Studies in Kenya supports The Tharaka Women’s Welfare Program (TWWP) in Tharaka Nithi, Kenya, which provides health and sex education for women and girls. Help design a new educational campus in Tharaka Nithi, use the design thinking process to learn about the challenges of residents in Tharaka Nithi and work collaboratively with them to improve their daily lives. Program led by Leslie Sager, Faculty Associate in the Department of Design Studies, SoHE. Earn 3 UW-Madison credits.
