Florence Toilet Installation Instructions Please inspect your new toilet suite before installation. No claims will be accepted after installation is completed. Contents: Pan, Cistern, Seat & Cistern Bolts (pan screws not included) ROUGH-IN S Trap requires a 150mm centre setout from finished plaster or 160mm from stud. P Trap requires a 180mm centre setout from finished floor. PAN INSTALLATION USING SCREW FIXING 1 Place toilet pan in position on finished floor and lightly with a pencil mark the outside of the base of the pan to give you a template line , also mark the position of the fixing hole on the floor. Measure thickness of pan at the base, transfer this measurement to the floor from the template line to give you finished bracket position. Ensure bracket is lined up with the centre of the fixing hole mark and fix to floor. 2. Apply a bead of silicone to the underside rim of the pan, position toilet pan over pan collar and ensure a tight seal between toilet pan and pan collar. 3. With screws and plastic collar provided CAREFULLY fix toilet pan to fixing bracket. 4. Position screw cap over pan screws to provide a clean finish. 5. Position toilet seat bolts through holes in top of pan and fix with wing nuts provided. CISTERN FIXING 1. Position 12mm cistern rubber ring over the nut on the outlet valve, which is located on the underside of the cistern. 2. Position fixing bolts in base of cistern ensuring that black o-ring is inside cistern. Lift cistern over pan, lining up cistern fixing bolts to the pre-determined holes in pan. Using nut and washer provided tightened cistern to pan evenly. A small amount of silicone can be used on the back of the cistern if required to hold the cistern in place. 3. Connect cistern to stop tap using appropriate plumbing fittings. CISTERN OPERATIONS. The inlet and outlet valves are set to pre-determined 4.5/3 levels at the time of manufacturing. Note 4.5/3 levels are to be checked at time of installation.

fixing bracket holes. Ensure water inlet connection is not obstructed by toilet 2 Assemble cistern to Pan. Place foam coupling seal into pan recess (do not use sealant). Connect flexible hose to inlet valve at the base of cistern. Position fixing bolts into base of cistern ensuring that black washers are on the inside of the cistern. Lift cistern over pan. Line up fixing bolts to the holes in pan and feed flexible hose through hole in pan then gently lower cistern into position. Using the nuts and washers provided tighten down the cistern evenly to the pan. 3 Feed flexible hose through either the right or left hand hole in pan. (Depending on your water inlet connection position.) 4 Lubricate the rubber fins of the pan bend and position this in the waste pipe at the correct height. Fix the pan connector back to the wall using the rod and back plate. (The rod may need to be cut down to size so that pan connector is fixed in the vertical position.) 5 Remove plastic cover and rubber from front of pan connector. Cut front of pan connector down so it finishes 250mm from finished wall. Take care to ensure the cut is even and straight. Lubricate the rubber then replace rubber then plastic cap onto pan connector. 6 Make sure inlet hose is pulled through hole inside of pan. Align and push fully assembled pan and cistern back to the wall, connecting pan spigot into pan connector. Bucket flush and check for leaks 7 Set up waste pipe so that the end of pan collar extends 250mm from finished wall. 8 Make sure inlet hose is pulled through hole in side of pan. Align and push fully assembled pan and cistern back to the wall, connecting pan spigot to the pan collar. Bucket flush and check for leaks.

9 Connect flexible water inlet hose to stop tap in wall. Fill cistern and ensure

correct water level. (See line inside of cistern for water level.) Water level can be adjusted by using the screw fitting at the top of float on inlet valve. 10 Ensure that the pan is level and that the cistern aligns with the wall. Make minor adjustments if necessary. (Note: walls may be out of square with floors which may create a gap behind the cistern. This can be covered up by using a suitable flexible gap filler) 11 Fix pan to the floor using screws and caps provided. 12 Silicone pan to floor. Remove excess sealant. Install seat. DEAR PLUMBER

Could you please ensure a copy of the installation instructions is left with end user for future reference. Installation of Toilet Seat and Cleaning – It is recommended that toilet seat and cover be installed after all trades are finished. Note – All measurements for roughing-in should be taken from finished wall/floor. Please check all measurements against the actual toilet before commencing as variances do occur. CLEANING RECOMMENDATIONS: The high quality vitreous china finish can be maintained by simply using mild soapy water and wiping over. Sanitaryware should not be cleaned with abrasive materials eg steel wool/scourers. Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents containing acids or scouring agents as this may lead to surface damage. Bleaches can also discolour seats and hinges and therefore should not be used. Do not use any toilet cleaners in the cistern. As the chemical compound may effect the internal mechanisms. After cleaning, rinse with clean water and polish with a clean soft cloth.

CISTERN OPERATIONS . The Inlet & Outlet Valves are set to pre-determined 6/3 levels at the time of manufacture. Note: 6/3 levels are to be checked, please follow instructions below.

INLET VALVE. Measurement from the inside base of the cistern to the top of the inlet valve should measure 298mm (DIAGRAM 1).

A small amount of silicone can be used on the back of the cistern if required to hold the cistern in place. 3. Connect cistern to stop tap using appropriate plumbing fittings.

ADJUSTMENT OF INLET FLOAT . Clamp together metal bracket on inlet float adjusting rod. This will allow the inlet rod to move up and down thus achieving required measurement of 85mm between the underside of the inlet arm and the inlet float (DIAGRAM 1). OUTLET VALVE. Float-setting indicator set to #17, (DIAGRAM 2). TOILET SEAT INSTALLATION . Position toilet seat bolts through holes on top of pan, fix with wing nut provided. Warranty 12 months. Important: Measurements are subject to manufacturing tolerances, please check measurements before commencing installation. The manufacturer is entitled to make change without giving notice. it is recommended you use a qualified plumber to install this toilet suite. Check if building regulations are required, failure to do so may invalidate the warranty.

Amalfi Installation Instructions 1 Ensure a stud or noggin is available for the fixing bolts, at no

stage should basin or shroud be fixed to the wall using wall plugs. 2 Measure 750mm from the finished floor and drill the appropriate hole for fixing bolts and fix bolts to stud or noggin. Note: For solid wall construction a 10mm dyna bolt is recommended. 3 If waste is going through the floor the setout is 210mm from the finished wall. 4 With the Pedestal in position carefully place basin over fixing bolts and lower onto pedestal. 5 Secure Basin with washer and nut provided. 6 Fit off all plumbing fittings and tapware. SHROUD INSTALLATION INSTRU CTIONS 1 A noggin 605mm from the finished floor is required for the shroud fixing, at no stage should the shroud be fixed to the wall using any form of wall plug. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Please remove plastic film before installation . 1. Fit vanity top to vanity cabinet by placing a bead of silicone around the top of the vanity cabinet. 2. Place the vanity top on the cabinet and centre it while silicone is still curing.The area where the vanity meets the wall and floor should be properly sealed with silicone. (This will help prevent any water penetration).

3. Connect water supply lines and waste outlet and adjust doors if required.This vanity top is guaranteed for a period of ten years against faulty materials or workmanship. Guarantee will however be voided if water temperature from tap exceeds 55°C. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS 1. Ensure a stud or Noggin is available for the fixing brackets, if fixing to a solid block wall it is recommended to use 6mm dynabolts. 2. Measure fixing bracket holes and fix supplied bracket to wall at 767mm from the floor. 3. If waste is going through the floor, the set out is 200mm from back wall. 4. Place Pedestal in correct position and carefully place basin over pedestal and fixing brackets. 5. Secure with wing nuts supplied. 6. Fit off all plumbing fittings and tapware. Please inspect your new Pedestal and basin, as no claim will be accepted after installation. All measurements are in millimetres.
