Former Number 1 Archery Star Visits Safer Schools Thank you to all parents who took the time to complete the Safer Schools survey. It is really important to us that we capture the views of our parents and community. 100% of parents surveyed felt that Longlands is a safe, tidy and welcoming site. 97% agreed that the signage around the school is adequate and that our safeguarding procedures for parent visitors are robust. 100% of parents reported that they were satisfied that the school security systems deter unauthorised visitors both in school time and during out of school hours. This a tremendous outcome and illustrates how much the pupils and community value our school.
We recently welcomed former number 1 Archery star Mel Clarke, to our school. Her talk to the pupils about her sporting career was inspirational.
