WEEKLY BULLETIN Dear Parents and Carers, This week has been a busy week as we get ready for the end of the first half term-only 2 weeks left before the October holiday-where does the time go? We are busily planning our Ground Force day and would love the whole family to get involved, if you are able to help then please pop into the office or reply on the letter coming home. Children will need to bring forest clothes for this day as they will be busy in the garden. On Thursday the children enjoyed a brilliant Hello Yellow day, thinking about young, healthy minds and a cinema evening. More information next week. We Are Collecting Aldi Tokens! Aldi supermarkets are currently running their ‘Kit for Schools’ promotion, which is giving 20 primary school the chance to win £20,000. Every primary school who enters by completing their Aldi’s Kit for Schools poster will also receive an exclusive school sports kit! If you have any Aldi sticker tokens we would be grateful if these could be brought into school please, as we are collecting them. The promotion ends 3rd November 2019. Thank you!

Halloween Disco and Pumpkin Competition The Halloween disco will be on Wednesday 23rd October. During the school day, there will be a pumpkin competition. Pupils are invited to bring in their pumpkins, which have been carved at home, to be entered into the competition. There will be a spooky prize for each Key Stage (EYFS, KS1, Lower Key Stage 2 and Upper Key Stage 2) and pumpkins will be displayed at the disco. Please can parents provide flameless candles (with on/off switch) if children wish to enter. Real candles will not be permitted for health and safety reasons.
