Events For Your Diary
Many of you will have received positive postcards this week in relation to your child’s progress at school. I feel it is always nice to receive good news from your child’s teachers of how they are doing.
Friday 13th December 2019 Under 14 Girls football away at Thomas Adams School.
Many congratulations to all of you that have received this positive feedback. Tuesday 10th December from 5pm-7pm Year 11 Parents’ evening.

After School Information
12th December from 6.30pm – 7.30pm School Christmas concert – all welcome.
From Thursday 12th December 2019 there will be an afterschool film club in English room 2.
Thursday 9th January 2020 from 6.00pm Achievement Evening (more information to follow)
The first film we will screen is Justice League, a faction-adventure in which Bruce Wayne and Wonder Woman put together a new team of heroes to help defeat an unprecedented evil.
Star Students
This is open to all who are interested. Please let your form tutor know. Those interested in attending will need to return a signed consent form (available from Mr Layton).
Christmas Jumper Day Christmas jumper day will take place on Friday 13th December. Please can students bring in ÂŁ1 as a donation and wear their Christmas jumper.

Term Date Reminder We close for the Christmas break on Friday 20th December 2019 with students returning to school on Monday 6th January 2020.
đ&#x;–‹ď¸? Stationery đ&#x;–‹ď¸? A new stationary shop is now available in the Year 7 and Year 8 pastoral office. This is being run by two Year 8 students. The shop will open from 08.30am each morning for pupils to buy essential equipment. đ&#x;?ł Food Hub Support đ&#x;?ł The food hub provides our school with breakfast items for our breakfast club which is well attended by students.
