What if..........?
What if an environmental unit reflected on biblical imagery?
How does this link with our learning?
Caretakers:Stewardship.
The Bible speaks of God as creator and sustainer of the earth; it is his world God placed people in his world to enjoy it and look after it, not to own it or exploit it People are called to work with God in caring for the earth
When is our opportunity?
How does this link to the Global Goals? Worship themes
What if children were helped to think about the quality of different times in history? Time: Events have significance and meaning. History is about people who experienced those events with joy, sadness, patience, and fear. Those people faced life with hope for the future, an insight that could help children reflect on their own times as well as past times.
What if a unit on animals highlighted the interconnecte dness of creation?
Connection: Creation
This reflects the creator God who made all things to fit together The greatness of God and the wonder of the world enables spiritual development
This can inspire hope and a sense of meaning.

MARY ANNING’S BIRTHDAY
The Bible offers us examples of people who experienced change, sometimes unexpectedly or even with reluctance, and brought about possibilities not realised before: Jacob’ s son Joseph overcame the loss of his family to thrive in service of the Pharaoh and succeed in a different time Esther was taken from her family but then bravely rose up to challenge those plotting against her people When David became King, the country rejoiced for the opportunity to follow God more nearly and grow as a nation and flourish as a community
