Profile: La Querce estate is located on the Chianti Florence hill that faces Impruneta. In its 42 hectares of extension we grow vineyards and olive trees. The land is cultivated according to both tradition and innovation, limiting chemical interventions in order to reach the balance between soil and plants. As a result we obtain high quality products. Most fields face south in a wide valley; this helps to obtain sun exposure and light breeze during the harvest. Profile: Tenuta Patruno Perniola is a family, organic-certified Estate, founded in early 1800 amid the Apulian Murgia, in the countryside around Gioia del Colle, a small town midway between Bari and Taranto, South of Italy. Wine making activity has always been a passion of the family and of the territory. The farm owners’ purpose was to make the excellent products of the area and to promote its territory through "agri-culture", which means to spread the culture, habits and way of life of this corner of Apulia. The excellence of their wines is the result of the hilly setting at about 350 meters above sea level, the frequent climate variations, and the rocky soil. The favorable conditions of the climate and the peculiarities of the territory are quite suitable for the production of a wine of excellent quality, elegant, tannic, with a full aromatic body. The traditional “cantina” grape working causes no damage but offers the wine an exquisite fragrance, emphasizing the Primitivo features.
