Marine Sales Manager Fischer Panda UK is accelerating its ambitious growth plans in the marine business after recruiting experienced industry executive Craig Gutteridge as the company’s new Marine Sales

Manager. Efective from 9 May, the strong appointment by the marine systems integrator will provide expert knowledge, strategic awareness and leadership in the drive to provide the most technologically advanced and innovative hybrid and electric power, climate control, digital monitoring and watermaker solutions for Fischer Panda UK’s expanding marine customer base in the leisure and commercial markets.

Appointment at Port of Rotterdam

Matthijs van Doorn

Vice President Per 1 March 2022, Matthijs van Doorn succeeded Emile Hoogsteden as Vice

President Commercial. In the preceding seven years, Mr Van Doorn was responsible for developing the hinterland network as Director Logistics. In the past two years, he was also involved in setting up the digital strategy and responsible for the digital portfolio of the Port of Rotterdam Authority. Mr van Doorn has gained extensive experience in logistics. Before joining the Port of Rotterdam Authority he had worked in various commercial positions at TNT.

Growth & Strategy for Greensea’s sister company Armach Robotics. Mr Howard’s appointment to Greensea in this newly created role will ensure the company is able to exploit its future potential within the business of marine robotics. Ben Kinnaman, Founder and CEO at Greensea welcomes Mr Howard to the role.

Stanko Jekov

Appointment at Simpson Spence Young

Simpson Spence Young (SSY) has confrmed that Head of Dry Cargo, Stanko Jekov, will be taking over as Senior Partner following

Mark Richardson’s announcement that he will retire at the end of this year.

Mr Jekov, who has been with SSY since 2002 and was made Partner in 2010, has led the Dry Cargo department since 2016.

Over the last six years the department has seen signifcant growth with expansion into new ofces including Dubai, Copenhagen, Varna, Geneva, Sao Paulo and most recently Athens, which opened in January 2022. The targeted expansion of Schottel’s international network of subsidiaries developed further with the foundation of

Schottel East Asia located near Busan.

In addition to the growing market in

South Korea, business development of the German propulsion expert will now also be intensifed in Japan. Business operations were launched in April 2022. Seongki Han has been appointed General Manager of Schottel East Asia. He brings to his new role extensive experience and expertise in the area of ship propulsion, based on a broad educational background as well as on 20 years of sales experience.
