Branch Manager Vetus, global innovation company for complete marine product systems, has expanded its international sales management team with signifcant appointments. The new arrivals at two local European offces strengthen the company’s presence in key markets and will effciently meet increasing demand for Vetus and Maxwell products through the most direct approach with OEMs and consumers. The frst addition is at the Vetus Italy headquarters in Montelupo, where Davide Baldereschi joins as Branch Manager.

Chief Executive Offcer Appointment at Hyde Sails

Charlie Bird, founder of the premium boat shoe brand Wuzzos, has been appointed as Chief Executive Offcer at Hyde Sails.

The move comes as Hyde Sails looks to continue its growth trajectory by expanding its diverse product offering and moving towards a new dynamic era of trade. Charlie Bird has amassed over 20 years of valuable marine brand development experience and expertise that he hopes will beneft Hyde Sails. After spending 16 years at Musto where he specialised in product development, production, brand, and cost management, Bird launched his own company, Wuzzos, in December 2019.

Mr Ricci has been Captain of large sail yachts in Italy and the USA and a yacht broker in Florida and he has fulflled various other roles within the industry.

Joana Franco

Sales Accountmanager With 14 years of experience in sales and marketing at multinational companies,

Davide also brings marine industry expertise and connections to Vetus from his previous roles. Based at the Vetus

Barcelona offce, Joana Franco has been appointed as Sales Account Manager for Spain and Portugal. A qualifed naval architect, ocean engineer and open water diver, Joana brings multi-lingual communication skills to the position, as well as monitoring and supervision experience in ship repair and design projects.

Jean-Marc Bolinger
