Concept - Circulation 01
From 01: Existing circulation paths dictate creation of new pedestrian avenue. Areas are horizontally and vertically sliced and shifted to create openings. The PAC facade aims to redirect sightlines from straight ahead.
A project in Europe provides new challenges and opportunities. This site in central Berlin aims to bring its underground arts culture into the public eye. It will utilize the city’s public transit infrastructure and Berliners’ affinity for walking and cycling to create a nexus for the city. Elevated bicycle pathway above ampitheater

This concept sculpture portrays an explorer investigating a new form, ie. a planet. The outer surface is ordinary. However, a drone launched into the interior discovers fascinating spaces. Such is the idea of discovering underground arts in Berlin, a new facet of the city.
Watercolors were used as a medium to portray approach paths as dynamic and grounded in movement.

In a reflection of diversity on campus, there is no consistent elevation visible when standing at the center of the courtyard. The facade flexes and undulates, in height and building material, from corrugated aluminum to grass to pavement.

Floor plan - ground level A workshop has two sides - production and critique (production). Both are important to better ones’ craft, especially at a university. This Atelier design has two levels - Students work on an expansive second level, and are placed on display or critique on the ďŹ rst level, directly adjacent the gate-like ampitheater acting as the main entry to the Engineering plaza.

Prison projects in California add a new facet to architecture, a need to balance security and livability, corrections and rehabilitation.
Experience working in varied offices has cemented a sense of the demands of professional projects. The work involved has also strengthened my use of software such as Revit for collaborative work and production.
Experience at Dewberry encompassed all aspects of the design and construction process, and gave a taste of federal projects.

A project to capture the unique aspects of a location in the micro scale, specifically in our own architecture building. This design reflects the abundant daylighting that spills down on the column. Plexiglas shards imitate light refraction on the different column sides.
