omething for everyone…. Our club has been very fortunate. This year, we’ve already put on many events. And there are many more to come. How fortunate we are to live in Southern California, where the weather is great, so we can do events year-round. We have beaches and mountains within short reach and we have numerous entertainment venues, museums, etc, allowing us to put on a diverse set of events. SOMETHING

2018 Planning Breakfast The Mercedes-Benz Club of Los Angeles will hold its annual New Year's Planning Breakfast on January 7, 2018 from 9:00am - 12:00pm at: DuPar's Restaurant & Bakery 214 S. Lake Avenue Pasadena, California 91101 (626) 405-8820 This event gives club members the opportunity to propose activities for the upcoming year. At this meeting, we look forward to hearing your input on the types of events you would like to see scheduled for your club in 2018. If possible, please be prepared to provide specific information regarding your suggestions. We had several members host or take charge in planning different and exciting events in 2017, and we hope to have similar participation in the upcoming year. Your elected board is ready and willing to assist you in doing this. In addition, your fellow club members are anxious to experience new venues and to enjoy new adventures. If you are unable to attend this event, please, don't let that stop you. If you can tell us your ideas before the meeting, we can discuss them with those who do attend this brainstorming session. Mercedes-Benz Enthusiasts Dinner, Saturday, January 20, 2018
s Arizona becomes the center of the automobile universe in January, we are again celebrating the classic car auction week with the Mercedes-Benz Enthusiast Dinner at Maggiano’s Little Italy Restaurant in Scottsdale. This years event will be on Saturday evening, January 20th, 2017 at 16405 N. Scottsdale Road, Scottsdale, AZ. Activities start at 5:30 P.M. with the viewing and judging of the “People’s Choice” contest featuring MBCA members personal cars in our reserved parking area.
Following the voting, join us on Maggiano’s patio to mingle around some new
Mercedes-Benz vehicles on display courtesy of Schumacher European. The party then moves inside to the private dining room for a family style dinner service of some of Maggiano’s classic Italian dishes. We guarantee no one will leave wanting. Last, but not least, our after dinner program will feature industry experts to give their perspectives on the past week’s auctions and the current state of the classic car market. Bring your questions and join the discussion. While the dinner caps off the week of auctions, we are planning guided tours to several of the auctions during the week. These tours offer “up close and personal” viewing of some of the exemplary cars being offered. Tour group sizes are limited and we will provide updates on how to register as the information becomes available. MBCA members from other regions, who are planning to be in town for the auctions, or just visiting at this beautiful time of year, are encouraged to participate in the events we have planned during the week and on Saturday evening. Please make hotel reservations soon, as the auctions draw an international crowd and accommodations are best reserved early. If you need help in finding a hotel please call Debbie at 480-268-9535

Recapping the Mercedes-Benz of Encino Event n the first Saturday in November, your Los Angeles Section got together at Mercedes-Benz of Encino. It was a great time with a fantastic dealer. We had a guided tour of the new car area, the completely separate AMG showroom, the preowned section, the web sales area, the service center, and were given a goodie bag from the parts department. outing quite enjoyable.
