TA is a major resource for world travelers. Working with TA’s Marketing Team, we themed each floor after different parts of the world [The Americas, Australia and the Pacific Islands, etc.] Conference rooms and phone rooms were all named after countries within the theme of each floor and our team worked closely with Boston Art to curate art and artifacts to represent each location.

The Forum features a variety of meeting and working spaces which encourage collaboration and socialization throughout the culture of the headquarters. In addition to the Forum’s every day use, the space was designed to support TA company-wide quarterly meetings, large events and is equipped with a wide range of technology to support these uses.

The sit-to-stand workstations were custom designed to emulate a workbench. The privacy panels feature imagery and comments uploaded by TA’s users. This content ties back to the overall theme assigned to each floor. Collaboration areas within the open work areas also create a “third-place” for employees to work away from their desks.

The images shown in the center of the page are from the 5th floor Pantry. This floor, themed after Europe, features an eclectic collection of art and artifacts displayed as a gallery wall in the Pantry. TripAdvisor’s team had a great time working with BDG’s design team to curate these elements alongside Boston Art. A custom toile wall covering helps tie in the overall European theme. The 6th floor Pantry is shown on the bottom of the page. This floor, themed after Australia and the Pacific Islands, features a high-resolution Surf Shop wall covering. Additionally, there is access off this Pantry to an outdoor balcony overlooking the landscaping below. Custom concrete tables stretch along the balcony giving ample space for working, eating and socializing.

STAG I N G // Staging the model unit for this residential building was quite fun. Waterside wanted to go with a comfortable lived in look, in contrast with the uber contemporary pieces featured in the amenity and public spaces. Every detail was selected with the management company - from the art on the walls to the forks and knives set atop the bar. In the end, they were very happy with the outcome of the model residence. Throughout all of the Kuwait projects, high-end design and luxury were very important factors. Each project considered Kuwaiti culture and accommodated special spaces such as Diwaniyas and Mokhtassars into the floor plans. These spaces served as VIP rooms for rest and lounging.
