Moscow Cathedral Mosque - the main mosque of Russia, was built in 1904.
September 23, 2015, the renovated Moscow Cathedral Mosque after the reconstruction was inaugurated by Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gainutdin and President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin. It is located together with the residence of the Council of Muftis of Russia in the Meshchansky district of Moscow.
In 2017 studio Mardesign made a new corporate identity of the cathedral mosque.
