A thesis regarding the border conditions of the Nicosia Buffer Zone. The thesis suggests the overcoming of the mental barrier through the exploitation and preservation of the physical border regardless of future political decisions. The Border analysis and investigation has contributed to the comprehension of the legacy of the border and its nature as an urban regulatory tool of a great cultural and historical importance. What is more the design manifesto aims to alter the existing associations and notions of the buffer zone as an element of division.
