“ALBINO PALM TREE”
Genre: Extraterrestrial Body Horror Running time: 50 minutes (contains violence) Stunt location: Taylor Glacier, hydrothermal vents, Ross Sea, 77°44’S, 162°10’E Equipment: expedition yacht, autonomous underwater vehicle, underwater sound system with sonar and 2 hydrophones, 2 floating spheres, 2 buoys, and 1 mooring. Props: vibrating PVC-coated PU inflated albino palm tree (30 metres long), long air gun, faux blood, lactone, and underwater spotlights. Synopsis: a giant albino tropical palm tree is found bleeding on the icy continent.

“BRONZE NAZI TREASURE”
Genre: Outerspace War & Mystery Running time: 10 minutes (contains no material likely to offend or harm) Stunt location: brunt ice shelf, Weddell Sea, hydrothermal vents, 75.6667° S, 25.0000° W Equipment: Twin Two-Twelve helicopter (weight drop), 20 x 1-tonne steel weights, underwater sound system with sonar and 2 hydrophones, 2 floating spheres, 2 buoys, and 1 mooring. Props: polystyrene blockhouse, 20 air guns, 20 polystyrene Breker statues representing a standing man in the wind attached to the steel weights, silver glitter, lactone, and underwater spotlights. Synopsis: 1940 – Nazi treasures and statues sculpted by artists Thorak and Breker are transported via a submarine and hidden in a secret bunker under the ice. 2050 – Due to the high pressure in the blockhouse, this one explodes. 20 statues are ejected out of the ice, breaking free of the shell they had been trapped within for so many years. They are found lying at the bottom of the Southern Atlantic Ocean.

Genre: Stellar Catastrophe Running time: 30 minutes (contains moderate fantasy violence and threat) Stunt location: East Scotia Ridge, hydrothermal vents, North Antarctica, 0°0’S 46°30’W Equipment: expedition yacht, autonomous underwater vehicle, underwater sound system with sonar and 2 hydrophones, 2 floating spheres, 2 buoys, and 1 mooring. Props: vibrating PVC-coated PU inflated black whale plane (20 metres long), air gun, silver glitter, lactone, and underwater spotlights. Synopsis: a mysterious plane crashes in Antarctica. As it falls through the ice and water, it deflates and later transforms itself into a whale.

Genre: Galactic Thriller Running time: 30 minutes (contains moderate fantasy violence and threat) Stunt location: Dumont d’Urville hydrothermal vents, 66.6628° S, 140.0019° E Equipment: Twin Two-Twelve helicopter (weight drop), 1 x 1-tonne steel weight, underwater sound system with sonar and 2 hydrophones, 2 floating spheres, 2 buoys, and 1 mooring. Props: polystyrene cone attached to the steel weight, lactone, and underwater spotlights. Synopsis: a series of disturbing scientific reports have been coming from McMurdo, the main scientific station of Antarctica. They revolve around the discovery of a magnetic anomaly detected under the Vostok Lake.

“FAUX ROCK STATUE”
Genre: Cosmic Adventure Running time: 10 minutes (contains no material likely to offend or harm) Stunt Location: Pacific-Antarctica Ridge, hydrothermal vents, North Antarctica, 0°0’S 46°30’W Equipment: Twin Two-Twelve helicopter (weight drop), 1 x 1-tonne weight, underwater sound system with sonar and 2 hydrophones, 2 floating spheres, 2 buoys, and 1 mooring. Props: polystyrene faux statue attached to the weight, lactone, and underwater spotlights. Synopsis: a faux statue is found trapped in the ice. The creator of this statue was certainly very well informed about the details and characteristics of Assyrian, Egyptian and Maya sculptures. He blended them all together to create a faux work of art. He then organised an expedition to Antarctica to hide the statue in the ice. The statue is still the result of great expertise. The work was later awarded the Grand Prix of Fictional Archaeology.
