The Official Emblem of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™. Its design draws on the traditional woollen shawl worn during the winter months, when the tournament will take place. The typeface celebrates Qatar’s heritage using traditional Arabic calligraphy integrating elements like the kasheeda, a lengthening of the line connecting letters to enhance the flow and elegance of the written word.
