NYANJA HOTEL.

Year: 2023, Fifth Semester Place: Surabaya, East Java Project: Academic (team based project) Supervisor: Subhan Ramdlani, ST., MT., CIQaR., CIQnR Tools: Revit, Sketchup, Autocad, Photoshop, Twinmotion Nyanja (means lake in Chichewa) is a 4 stars business hotel and convention center situated in the vibrant heart of West Surabaya, overlooking a picturesque lake. This modern Architectural gem redefines luxury accomodation, seamlessly blending comtemporary with unpararelled hospitality. Strategically positioned in busting urban landscape, Nyanja is a heaven for both business and leisure travelers. With close proximity to key commercial districts, entertainment hubs, and cultural attractions, guests are immersed in the dynamic energy of West Surabaya. Nyanja main focus is to emphasis on communal spaces. Designed to foster connection and collaboration, our hotel features inviting area where guests can network, socialize, and work in a relaxed environment.

SITE. Location: Jalan Babatan Unesa, Kecamatan Wiyung, Surabaya, Jawa Timur. Site Area: 12.130,74 m2 KDB: 6.169,925 m2 (50%)

DESIGN CONCEPT.

Convention Center is placed on the bottom as podium to support hotel tower above. The basic mass of the building is square.

The tower is placed to the north of the site so that it does not shadow the building next to it and provides a path for the wind.

The site entrance is on the center of the site and exist on the nort and south sides of the site. Parking lot available in basement, 1st floor, and mezanine floor.

Adjusting the shape of the building to the road axis and view around the site. The building is focused on facing the lake in front of the hotel. Also, forming a public park in the middle of the site.

Pedestrian circulation is available with two entrances at each end of the site. Bicycle parking area is available in the south of the site.

SURABAYA PUBLIC LIBRARY.

Year: 2023, Fourth Semester Place: Surabaya, East Java Project: Academic Supervisor: Andika Citraningrum, ST., MT., M.Sc Tools: Sketchup, Autocad, Photoshop, Enscape, Canva The Surabaya Public Library is a public library located on a site on Jl. Ir. H. Soekarno, East Surabaya, covering an area of 9000 m2. This library adopts the concept of "open for everyone," welcoming all people, especially those in Surabaya. In addition to housing various types of book collections, the Surabaya Public Library also features a cafe area, a children's computer area, an auditorium, meeting rooms, exhibition spaces, co-working spaces, and a spacious garden equipped with play areas, tables, and platforms. The expansive garden area also makes the Surabaya Public Library a green and refreshing space, allowing for a variety of activities outside the library building.

DESIGN CONCEPT.

The building's form is designed to follow the site's shape to facilitate circulation and enhance aesthetics.

There is a reduction on the ground floor of the building to serve as the reception area and lobby. The site is processed by following the shape of the site and the building.

The circulation is made as simple as possible to enhance the visitors’ comfort on driving.

The longest sides of the building face east and west to maximize natural lighting.

Vegetation and greenery on the site is made to create a communal space and to fulfill the KDH of 10%

The vegetation also serves as a barrier to capture hot air and transform it into cool air.

Year: 2023 Place: Malang, East Java Project: Competition (Team Based Project) Tools: Sketchup, Photoshop, Enscape, Canva

OMAH CILIK.

The Watugong area is a densely populated area in the city of Malang. This area is a residential area with many commercial buildings (boarding houses) owned by the residents. There is also a significant change in land use for commercial purposes. As time goes by, more and more people are residing in Watugong, causing the area to appear increasingly crowded and congested. Omah Cilik" serves as one of the viable housing solutions with flexible and complex functions, packaged within a limited 60m2 land. "Omah Cilik" is designed with the concept of sustainable architecture to maximize land utilization while minimizing environmental impact, both internally and externally.

LIMO TOWN HOUSE.

Year: 2023 Place: Depok, West Java Project: Kerja Praktik (Team based project) Supervisor: Ar. Wahyu Dinal Akbar, IAI. Tools: Sketchup, Autocad, Photoshop, Enscape, Canva Limo Town House is a residential complex located in the Limo area of Depok. This housing development is designed by PT Roda Emas Indotred. In Limo Town House, there are two types of houses, namely type 86 and type 114. The housing complex, which adopts a modern tropical theme, also comes with facilities such as a mosque and a sports field.
