Pasar Bunga Kalisari can be interpreted as an example of a homogeneous type of market that sells commodity flowers and plants in the city of Semarang.Historically, the Kalisari flower market has been established since the 1980s. At first, this location was not intended for the market, only in the form of vacant land located on the edge of the canal that passed & spreaded through the area of Mt. Brintik (in front of Domenico Savio Middle School till Taman Kasmaran - now). Then in 2016 there was a revitalization of the Kalisari flower market area caused by government efforts to organize the area around Semarang.
This project is an attempt to explore how we are going to respond to the one of Semarang’s problem that people think that nothing is wrong with this, including the government itself. When the illegal becomes the legal one without thinking about the future impact insofar.
