Clotted Bodies in Paradise by Audrey Salmon focuses on the effects and aftermath of the transition from the Industrial to the Digital Era, a world filled with electronics and multiple (continuous) connections. The exhibition consists of multimedia installations, text, sound and performance based elements.
The era we live in creates the illusion of a fast moving, all-knowing and an almost omnipresent understanding of the world. A world that has been summarized
into a sort of mono-aesthetic of what our desire, emotion, knowledge should be on a global scale. Reality seems to have been reduced into a few pixels, emoticons or memes. This being the lure, the best bait for catching happiness pretending to guaranty the sensational in the size of a snapshot.
