Problem We need to communicate to young people about the Adidas Cities collection and help it become more popular among them.


Adidas always tries to put some influences of different cities of the world in their collections. Now with the Adidas Cities Series, some big cities of the world are the main theme of the collection. And if you want to discover new things in your city and celebrate the originality of the streets, Adidas decided to help you with the Adidas Live it Out app.


In all pieces of Adidas Cities collection, the clothing tags will come with a QR Code.


Each time you put the QR Code in front of a webcam (while browsing www.adidascities.com), a map of the city that inspires your apparel will appear with suggestions from Adidas for you to live it out and enjoy your city.


Using the QR Code you will also be able to download and install an app to your Foursquare.


Each time the GPS of your 3G cell phone detects that you’re at some place recommended for you by the Live it Out map, your twitter account will be updated with this message: “I’m living out with Adidas at the Bowery Room, NY. Come Live it Out you too.”, for exemple.


Why will it work ? With the Adidas Live it Out app, Adidas fans will be able to celebrate the originality and discover some new stuff. ‘Cause you never know what you might discover unless you Live it Out.


Why wasn’t this possible 5 years ago? - Five years ago, the development of QR codes haven’t reached this stage, and it wasn’t available to the public. - The Foursquare and its technology that transmits information for social media, like Twitter, were only launched in 2009. - Twitter, the social media that we use here, was only launched in 2006.
