FERNĂƒO FLAT Renovation and Interior Design
FERNĂƒO FLAT Renovation and Interior Design Location: SĂŁo Paulo, Brazil Program: Residential Project Year: 2017 - 2018 Category: Renovation, Interior Design Size: 61m2 Type: Individual Project Role: Concept Design, Detailed Design, Renovation Monitoring, Expenses and Payments Control, Team Management. Program Used: AutoCad, SketchUp, Ps
The renovation of this apartment of 61m2 was directed to a single woman, book lover and mother of two cats. At the beginning the flat had two small bedrooms and the kitchen / laundry area was a totally separated from the living room. It was decided to enlarge one of the bedrooms allowing to fit a homeoffice space, in addition to the double bed and transform the other into a TV room. The kitchen started to communicate with the rooms through a counter. The total opening for communication of the three environments was not possible due to the existence of pillars, but they were important elements in the organization of the space. The joinery has also become a kind of playground for cats, who can get around the shelves that run the apartment. Design: ATUcoletivo | Photos: Janaina Leal
