NEW CAR ENTRANCE AND ACCESS TO POOL

NEW ENTRANCE

IN COLLABORATION WITH CARAKAS DESIGN GROUP


Remodeling and restoration of a Colonial house built in 1936. The project aimed to preserve the original style, maintaining and enhancing the wood floor, marble finishes, and detailed doors and windows. The

landscaping

design

was

an

important part of the project, where a pool and a car entrance were added to the property. The interior design concept proposed give a touch of modernity within social spaces and private areas like bathrooms, closets, and kitchen.

I was part of the design and supervision team as an architect in Carakas Design Group.

The main purspose of the design was to intervene the original interior space in order to create a new spacious and efficient rooms Modernity and design innovations were given especially to the kitchen and bathrooms.

The opening of spaces through large windows and the construction of terraces offer an enjoyment of nature and the landscape present.

A NEW SOCIAL AREA WITH A BRICK-MADE BARBECUE AND AN OUTDOOR DINING BECAME THE SPECIAL FEATURE OF THIS HOME

STONE AND MARBLE WERE THE SELECTED FINISHES FOR THE SOCIAL SPACES COMBINED WITH MODERN FURNITURE.

I was part of the design and supervision team as an architect in Carakas Design Group.

Design of a new terrace accessed from the second level of the house. The owners wanted to take advantage of this great spot to enjoy the view.

CONFERENCE ROOM Wanting to be a cutting-edge company, Magefesa asked for a transformation of the meeting room. The use of simple materials as wood and glass combined with the red, black and white colors that identify the brand were essential for meet the client desire.

[DESIGN 3] RETAIL design Select a Brand and design its flagship store at Brickell City Center. The concept was developed from the specific characteristics of the brand and marketing elements: colors, about cars, for kids and collectors.

[DESIGN 4] In order to design an “Elderly environment� we had to define the location around South Miami Metrorail, related with the Underline upcoming project, define a type of building oriented for Senior, and develop an exterior and interior space. GREEN HOUSE CAFE, a place for gardening and gathering.

HEALTCARE DESIGN. From a research of the several types of dentistry’s specialties with its requirements the project developed an interior design space for a Faculty Dentistry Clinic at the University of Florida (Gainesville)

A place for artist, to live and work. Where the community is able to visit, enjoy and learn. Location: 5958 South Dixie Highway. Building designed by STA Architectural group.







AIA AAH STERIS Student Design Charrette Orlando, 2017 The AIA AAH STERIS Student Design Charrette is a 48-hour design Charrette performed annually at the Healthcare Design Conference. The mission is to encourage talented architectural students into the practice for health, and to promote architectural education that will contribute to the practice of architecture for health design.

For this year’s Charrette, the Taskforce selected a site in Orlando and created the topic of “Mending the Body and Mind: Building a Wellness Center to Treat Mental and Physical Illnesses within a Community” Florida International University received Type B = Pediatrics Team consisted of Professor Newton D’Souza with his students Mariana Lamberti Vazquez, Matheus Lauer Da Silveira, Martha Salazar Venerio and Vivian Taboada
