Extracurricular Activities

At Marianapolis, you will grow in all ways as a community member; scholar, student-athlete, musician, artist, leader, and in any way you envision. You can continue to excel at a sport you have much experience in, or you can develop an interest by trying something completely new. Maybe Ultimate Frisbee or acting in Little Women! Whether you are a competitive athlete, prefer the lights of the stage, or both, rest assured you will find many things that you will love.

I am proud to have attended Marianapolis because of how it

encourages students to do what they love. In athletics, there are levels for all sports so students can participate regardless of experience or skill level. There are many different

music

groups that students can participate in and a

artistic opportunities wide variety of

for students to express themselves. Everyone is

pursue their own path, encouraged to

and everyone supports each other along the way.

Leadership

Marianapolis students develop as citizens and are a part of the global community. Exhibiting strong leadership qualities is something our Student Leadership Coordinator teaches to students in program curriculum and throughout the year. Do you want to design community service initiatives? Perhaps educate fellow students of the importance of nutrition, good sleep habits, and stress relief? Maybe you would like to be that first impression prospective students get by hosting them on campus? You are encouraged to take on leadership roles at Marianapolis in an effort to live out the mission of the School while strengthening your own personal and collaborative abilities. Right from your freshman year, there are opportunities to hold leadership positions. Leadership groups appeal to a wide array of interests ranging from athletics to faithbased groups to peer leadership.

I always try to make myself a

role model for

younger students. And not only the underclassmen but people in my own class. I always try to make the decision that is right. I

always try to do what is best for the people around me.
