Prosthetic makeup (also called FX prosthesis) is the process of using prosthetic sculpting, molding and casting techniques to create advanced cosmetic effects. The process of creating a prosthetic appliance begins with lifecasting, the process of taking a mold of a body part (often the face) to use as a base for sculpting the prosthetic. Lifecast molds are made from prosthetic alginate or more recently, from skin-safe silicone rubber. The prosthetic material can be foam latex, gelatin, silicone or other similar materials. This initial mold is relatively weak and flexible. A hard mother mold, typically made of plaster or fiberglass bandages is created overtop the initial mold to provide support. Once a negative mold has been created, it is promptly filled with gypsum cement, most commonly a brand called "Ultracal-30", to make a "positive" mold. The form of the prosthetic is sculpted in clay on top of the positive. The edges of the clay should be made as thin as possible prosthetic piece.

CINE-WAX Cine-Wax is a wax product for the design of small 3D effects. The ideal composition of natural and synthetic waxes, especially the 50% share of natural organic substances should be emphasized. Cine-Wax can be applied easily and allows making very fine, almost invisible transitions. The transparency of the material causes a natural make-up of the created effect. COLLODION Collodion is a classic product for creation of simulated scars (also known as Scarring Material). Collodion, which dries extremely fast, is first coated onto the skin. The skin is then pressed together to form a fold. The optical impression of a scar results. The artificial scar can be colored with Supracolor. Collodion contains ether and acts to degrease the skin. After being used, the skin should be treated with cream that contains fat, and the skin should be protected from being stressed. Presentation: 30 ml.
