FLAGS OF EUROPE
CROATIA The flag combines the colors of the flags of the Kingdom of Croatia (red and white), the Kingdom of Slavonia (white and blue) and the Kingdom of Dalmatia (red and blue). Those three kingdoms are the historic constituent states of the Croatian Kingdom.
ARMENIA  The Flag of the Republic of Armenia is tricolour. It is made of three horizontal and equal stripes of red, blue and orange. Red symbolizes the Armenian highland, the Armenian people's continued struggle for survival, maintenance of the Christian faith, Armenia's independence and freedom. Blue symbolizes the will of the people of Armenia to live beneath peaceful skies. Orange symbolizes the creative talent and hard-working nature of the people of Armenia.
ESTONIA The national flag of Estonia is a tricolour featuring three equal horizontal bands of blue (top), black, and white. Symbolism blue: vaulted blue sky above the native land; black: attachment to the soil of the homeland as well as the fate of Estonians – for centuries black with worries; white: purity, hard work, and commitment.
IRELAND The Republic of Ireland's flag is made of three equal-sized rectangles of orange, white, and green. The green color on the flag represents the native people of Ireland (most of whom are Roman Catholic). The orange color represents the British supporters of William of Orange who settled in Northern Ireland in the 17th century (most of whom are Protestant). The white in the center of the flag represents peace between these two groups of people.
POLAND Our national flag is white and red. White means purity, and red means courage and bravery. It symbolizes blood which was pour over the centuries in area of our country.
SLOVAKIA Â Flag of Slovakia consists of Slovakia and Slovak tricolor character. Slovak tricolor colors are derived both from the original Slovak colors red and white and also the Slavic tricolor (white, blue, red).
TURKEY Red is a traditional islamic colour and was the colour used by the Ottoman empire, who formerly ruled Turkey, but the empire collapsed in 1918. The crescent and star are ancient symbols of Islam and are considered to be signs of good luck.
TUNISIA The Tunisia flag has a bright red background with a white disk in the center which holds a crescent and a star. The red color is symbolic of Islam. The crescent and the star in the flag of Tunisia is a popular motif of the Islamic world. This motif is considered to be a symbol of good luck.
