ABOUT US SINCE 1968, GateWay Community College
has built a legacy of innovation, pioneering vision and responsiveness to the needs of our community with many firsts—the first technical college in Arizona; first to use community advisory committees; first to tailor courses to the needs of business and industry; and first to offer classes at off-campus locations. In 2016, we continue to evolve our institution and are bringing GateWay Community College and Maricopa Skill Center locations under one brand with three locations - Gateway Community College at the Central City Campus, Deer Valley Campus and Washington Campus.

Childcare Services are available to students, faculty, staff and the
community at our Washington Campus and a branch campus through the Osborn School District. To qualify, children must be ages 2 through 12 and fully potty trained. For admission, the following information must be provided: • • • •

COMPUTER LABS The Library and Learning Center at the Washington Campus and the selct rooms at the Central City Campus offer students access to Computer Labs with separate tables in well-lit, quiet and modern settings. POINTS OF PRIDE A Butcher Shop & Deli at the Central City Campus is open to the public for retail meat, poultry and cheese products as well as offers butcher shop services throughout the year. Expert Salon & Spa Services are available at select campuses at a fraction of the cost you might pay elsewhere. All services performed by students under instructor supervision. The HUG Clinic, a pro-bono clinic offering physical therapy assisting, respiratory programming and sonography services performed by students, with instructor supervision, provides much needed services to residents of Phoenix and beyond at the Washington Campus.
The Integrated Education (IE) Building is LEED Gold Certified by the U.S. Green Building Council. The Center for Healthcare Education (CH) Building is a state-of-the-art facility, modeled after a hospital for the healthcare and nursing programs. GateWay is home to the Center for Entrepreneurial Innovation, the only community college in the Maricopa system with such a facility on campus. Maricopa SBDC operates on the Washington Campus, offering it’s services to community members and houses the Fahrenheit Laboratory for students. GateWay is the only community college in the Maricopa system that has a Light Rail stop on campus.
