ALIGNING OUR TOOLS TO OUR NARRATIVE

Work Smart- Teachers teaching teachers is, of course, a great way to learn. For the past 6 months, 32 of your colleagues have been hard at work vetting the device as an instructional tool, and now is the time to learn from their experiences. Come hear the pitfalls, the challenges and the success stories of their work and how it applies to your grade band. The embrace growth team members will share their favorite apps, their favorite uses and the ways the iPad helped them, and can help you, work smart!

Create ExperienceFeeling pressure to create amazing, engaging lessons using the iPad and all of its creation tools? Don’t worry, Apple’s got your back! This session will lead you through the Apple curriculum “Everyone Can Create” and how to apply it to your classroom, no matter the content! Your instructional tech leaders will show you how the camera, garage band, iMovie, and clips can be utilized to enhance learning and create engaging student experiences.

Embrace Growth- We hear you. Learning is great, but you need time to play, fail, and create. This session is designed and driven by you, the learner. Want to have time to create that new engaging lesson you’ve been hearing about? Now is the time. With your instructional tech team available to assist you at every turn, take a new app for a test drive, collaborate with your department or team, or ask one of our experts for a mini lesson to continue your learning. The time is yours to take that next step and embrace your own growth!
